Authorities Release Identity of Man Who Was Critically Injured in Carnival Valor Fall This Week
Authorities have shared released the identify of the man who fell and was critically injured aboard a cruise ship earlier this week. The victim was 23-year-old police officer John Thomas Holliday.
AL.com reports that Holliday is a police officer with the police in Huntsville, Alabama.
Though Carnival has confirmed that Holliday fell and was injured aboard the Carnival Valor cruise ship, as of now published reports have not indicated the nature of the incident that injured the officer.

Reports do indicate that the incident occurred at about 1:00 am on Tuesday morning as the ship sailed about 65 nautical miles off the Louisiana coast, and Carnival has issued a statement indicating that Holliday was injured while aboard the ship. Carnival says that, contrary to some reports, Holliday did not fall into the water.
AL.com reports that a spokeswoman at University Medical Center in New Orleansas indicated that of Thursday morning Holliday was in critical condition.
