Arrest made in Palm Springs hit-and-run crash that killed bicyclist
PALM BEACH, FL – Authorities say they have made an arrest in a fatal hit-and-run crash on Thanksgiving night in Palm Beach County.
CBS 12 reports Victor Eduardo Tzul-Pacheco is accused of being the driver responsible for the incident on 2nd Avenue North in Palm Springs.
Witnesses told police that Tzul-Pacheco was driving a pickup truck while heading west on 2nd Avenue and struck a bicyclist who was heading in the same direction at 6:10 p.m. The bicyclist landed on a shoulder of the road and was killed.
Palm Springs Police pulled over Tzul-Pacheco later and he was subsequently placed under arrest. He is facing multiple charges, including DUI causing death and failing to stop and remain at a crash involving death.
