4 Hospitalized After Car Crashes into Restaurant
4 people were reported hurt after a car crashed into a restaurant in Miami on Friday.
Local10.com reports that the incident occurred at about 6:30 p.m. when the driver of the vehicle reportedly first crashed through a fence and a field, and then hit a van, and finally crashed into Camarón Seafood Grill, located at 501 Northwest 37th Ave.
The crash injured three women and one man, all of whom rescue workers transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle was among those injured in the crash.
Some have speculated that the vehicle’s driver may have suffered a medical emergency, leading to the crash, but this theory has not yet been confirmed.
The report indicates that there were several people injured who were treated at the scene and not hospitalized. Two young people were among those who were treated but not hospitalized.
Miami Police are investigating the incident.
