3 Dead and 8 Hurt In Serious I-95 Crash
A serious car crash killed three people in Volusia County, Florida Sunday.
NBCMiami.com reports that the victims were among nearly a dozen people who were involved in the crash which occurred on Interstate 95 when a van careened off the highway at about 5:30 AM. The force of the crash sheared the van’s roof completely off and threw all of the van’s occupants from the vehicle.
A four-year-old child was reportedly among the people who died in the crash. In addition to the three deceased victims, eight others were injured, including a three-year-old child.
Authorities transported the victims to several local hospitals, with three of the victims reportedly in critical condition.
Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the tragedy.
