12-Year-Old Boy Dies in Brevard County Boating Crash
A 12-year-old boy tragically lost his life in a boating collision on Friday.
According to the Wildlife Conservation Commission, the crash occurred near Suntree, Florida in Brevard County at about 10:30 a.m. The collision occurred in the Indian River Lagoon when a personal watercraft collided with another vessel.
The crash ejected the personal watercraft’s occupants, including the 12-year-old victim.
First responders transported the boy to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
FloridaToday.com reports that the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating the crash.
