Miami Area Crash Hospitalizes Three – Including Two Minors
A serious Miami area crash left three people hospitalized Wednesday afternoon, including two minors.
Local10.com reports that the crash occurred at NE 10th Avenue and NE 145th Street. Apparently, Miami-Dade police were following a black vehicle west on NE 145th when the vehicle crashed into the blue vehicle in which the victims were traveling.
Two of the victims, an 8-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl, were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital for treatment. They are reportedly in stable condition. An adult woman was also injured in the crash. She was transported to Aventura Hospital & Medical Center and is also reportedly in stable condition.
Police have confirmed that they were attempting to stop the black vehicle when the crash occurred. They have not indicated the reason for the attempted stop.
Following the crash, police detained a man and woman that had been traveling in the black vehicle.
