Man Hospitalized After Brightline Train Slams Into Pickup Truck
A Brightline train has been involved in yet another crash after a train struck a vehicle in Broward County Friday.
WSVN.com reports that the crash occurred Friday afternoon at about 5:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Southwest Third Street and South Dixie Highway.

Apparently, the driver of a pickup truck attempted to cross the track after the train gate came down, driving around it just as the train approached.
The collision totaled the pickup truck, sending it rolling before it came to a stop.
The driver of the pickup was seriously injured in the crash, and first responders transported the victim to Aventura Hospital for treatment.
