KIA Recalls Over 410,000 Vehicles For Potentially Defective Airbags
Automaker KIA is recalling over 410,000 vehicles due to concerns relating to potentially defective airbags.
Newsweek.com reports that the vehicles’ Airbag Control Unit could come into contact with the vehicles’ circuit board, potentially interfering with the components that control the airbags.

“Circuit damage may result in deactivated airbags that will not deploy in a crash,” says a report issued by KIA.
The Newsweek report does not indicate whether any injuries have been reported as a result of the defect.
