Islamorada Boat Crash Leaves One Dead
A woman is dead after a boat on which she was riding crashed into another vessel.
MiamiHerald.com reports that the crash occurred in late January when the victim was riding on the center console of a 17-foot boat traveling in Florida Bay. The vessel in which she was riding crashed into a 31-foot-boat near mile marker 81 at Islamorada.
The impact of the crash left the victim severely injured.
Fire rescue workers transported her to Mariners Hospital in Tavernier where medical personnel later pronounced her dead.
