Hit-and-Run Crash Kills One and Injures Six in Miami-Dade
A serious hit-and-run crash left one person dead and six injured on Monday morning.
Local10.com reports that the crash occurred near Northwest 119th Street and 22nd Avenue when a red Dodge Charger rear-ended a Toyota Sienna that was carrying seven passengers.
The Charger was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed into the Sienna, killing one of the Sienna’s occupants, 23-year-old Chris Lopez.
Miami-Dade fire rescue transported the six surviving victims to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. The victims are all in stable condition.
Miami-Dade police are looking for the driver of the Charger, identified only an approximately 6 foot tall black male with a bald head.
