Generac Recalling Generators Due to Risk of Finger Maiming
Electrical generator manufacturer Generac is recalling hundreds of thousands of generators due to a defect that could result in the devices maiming those that operate them.

ConsumerReports.org reports that the recall applies to approximately 321,600 generators. Apparently, the handle on the devices can pinch the operator’s finger against the frame, possibly crushing or severing it.
The report indicates that the defect applies to 32 generator models dating as far back as 2013.
