Florida Highway Patrol: Two Dead Following Fiery Miami-Dade Crash
The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports that two people died in a fiery Miami-Dade area crash today.
Local10.com reports that the incident involved two crashes. The first crash occurred in the northbound lanes of I-95 near Northwest 95th street, and involved a Chevy SUV and a BMW. “The Chevy changed lanes into the path of the BMW. The front of the BMW collided into the left side of the Chevy…As a result, the Chevy overturned, landed on its roof and became fully engulfed in flames,” FHP Lt. Alex Camacho said.
The male driver and female passenger in the Chevy were killed in the crash. The driver of the BMW was injured and was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
The crash reportedly produced a secondary crash, but the Local10.com report did not indicate if there were any additional injuries related to that crash.
