Brightline Train Kills 59th Victim in 5 Years of Operation
A Brightline train struck and killed a person in Broward County Saturday.
WSVN.com reports that the collision occurred Saturday night near a homeless shelter in Hollywood. The report did not indicate the circumstances surrounding the crash but did say that it occurred in an area where there are “No Trespassing” signs by the tracks.

WSVN reports that, as a relates to fatalities, Brightline has the worst safety track record of any rail in the country.
Since Brightline began operations in 2017 the trains have struck and killed at least 59 people.
