Bicyclist Dies Following Key Largo Crash
A bicyclist has died following a crash with a vehicle in Key Largo.
WFLA.com reports that the crash occurred at about 9:00 p.m. in the vicinity of 66th St N, south of Ulmerton Road when the bicyclist was crossing in an unlit area of the road. The bicycle apparently did not have illumination at the time of the crash.
As the bicyclist was crossing, a vehicle that was traveling north struck the bicyclist, killing the bicyclist at the scene.
Officers with the Key Largo Police Department’s Traffic Homicide Unit are investigating the incident.
