West Palm Beach Woman Dies in Three-Car Collision
A West Plam Beach woman has died following a serious multi-vehicle crash on Sunday.
PalmBeachPost.com reports that the crash occurred just after 12:00 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike. Traffic was stopped at mile marker 112 when a woman driving a sedan reportedly failed to stop, struck an SUV, and then ran onto the road’s shoulder. The crash was so forceful that it pushed the SUV into the path of another vehicle, causing another collision.

Authorities transported the 57-year-old woman who reportedly caused the initial crash to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach. She later died from her injuries. The driver of the SUV suffered serious injuries while the driver of the third vehicle suffered minor injuries.
