Child hospitalized after being hit by car near Vero Beach
VERO BEACH, FL – State troopers were on the scene in Indian River County Friday afternoon after a child was struck by a car, WPTV reports.
The child, whose age was not released, was hit in the 500 block of 39th Street near Vero Beach shortly after 12 noon.
The victim was flown by paramedics to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach. There was no immediate information on the condition of the child.
The incident is under investigation by the FHP.
