Crash Involving USPS Truck Leaves Three Injured
Three people were reported injured following a vehicle collision involving a United States Postal Service truck earlier today.
According to Local10.com, the crash occurred near Northwest 17th Avenue and 46th Street and involved the USPS truck and a Chrysler 300 automobile. As the Chrysler was traveling north at a high velocity, the report says, the vehicle’s driver lost control, crashed into a light pole, and then hit a store and the USPS truck.
The front end of the Chrysler was seriously damaged in the collision, and three people were rushed to the hospital in the aftermath of the crash.
The two individuals in the Chrysler were taken to a local medical facility with non-life-threatening injuries. The USPS driver was also taken to a local medical facility with serious injuries, but is also expected to survive.
