Six Hospitalized After Rollover Crash in South Miami-Dade
A rollover crash in South Miami-Dade left six people hospitalized Tuesday afternoon.
MiamiHerald.com reports that the crash occurred during afternoon rush hour on Florida’s Turnpike when a Ford Expedition was traveling north in the vicinity of Southwest 288th. The driver of the vehicle lost control of the SUV, leading to the truck overturning and smashing into a guardrail.

The six people in the Expedition all suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Rescue workers transported the victims to Homestead Hospital for treatment.
Investigators are still unsure what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
