Second South Florida Motorcyclist Within 24 Hours Dies In Crash
A motorcyclist has died following a crash in Broward County.
Local10.com reports that the driver of the bike lost control as he was traveling on Florida’s Turnpike’s near the southbound exit ramp to I-595 near Davie. The force of the crash through the victim from his bike, over the concrete wall, and completely off the ramp.
The 41-year-old victim from Oakland Park was pronounced dead at the scene. Images of the scene showed his motorcycle on its side near the concrete wall.
This was at least the second motorcyclist reported killed in South Florida over the past 24 hours. Another motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Miami on Friday morning.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
