School Bus Crashes into Car in Orlando Sending 7 Children to the Hospital
An Orange County school bus collided with a car at about 8:00 am Tuesday morning, injuring at least seven students.
WFTV.com reports that the crash occurred because the street was too narrow for both the bus and the car to pass. The bus was carrying 54 elementary school students at the time of the collision, seven of whom were hospitalized with minor injuries following the crash.
Parents complained that the school district did not notify them for up to an hour after the crash.
Though it is not yet clear who is at fault for the crash, Florida state troopers reportedly plan to charge either the bus driver or the vehicle driver after the troopers conclude their investigation.
