Public School Bus Involved in Crash Thursday Morning
A public-school bus was involved in a crash in Miami-Dade on Thursday.
MiamiHerald.com reports that the crash occurred at about 7:00 a.m. as the school bus driver was making a left turn on to Fourth Terrace near 97th Avenue. According to Daisy Gonzales-Diego, a spokesperson for Miami-Dade County Public Schools, a Honda CR-V struck the bus as the bus turned.
The bus had only one student aboard when the crash occurred. Neither the student nor the bus driver was injured. The driver of the CR-V was also uninjured.
Though no one was hurt in the crash, the collision caused significant damage to the front driver side of the CR-V and caused some damage to the back right side of the bus.
