Promising Miami Area Doctor Killed in Fall While on Vacation in Spain
The family, friends, and work colleagues of a Miami area doctor are in shock today, after learning he tragically fell to his death while on vacation in Spain last week.
The Miami Herald reports that Daniel Sirovich was in the process of completing his medical residency at Kendall Regional Medical Center when he and his fiancee, Kristy Kelly, took a vacation to Sa Pedrera de Cala d’Hort, also known as Atalantis, on the Spanish island Ibiza. As the couple was hiking in the area Sirovich fell approximately 80 feet from a trail to his death, People.com reports.

In an interview with People, Kelly’s mother says that Kelly is devastated following the loss of her fiance. “He had the most beautiful soul and absolutely adored her as she does him,” she told People.com. “All they were concerned about was getting their education and saving lives,” she added.
Sirovich was just days away from starting a new job in the intensive care trauma unit at a Boston area hospital. His friend, Gui Ramos, has set up a GoFundMe page to help cover the costs associated with his funeral.
