Princess Cruises’ Private Island Ravaged By Blaze
A raging fire broke out earlier this week on a private island owned by a cruise company.
The inferno occurred Monday night at about 11 p.m. on Eleuthera, Bahamas, which is owned by Princess Cruises. The company told FoxNews.com that the fire burned for about an hour and “encompassed several buildings on the south side of the island.”
Princess reports that none of the gust-facing facilities were affected by the blaze and says that no one was hurt by the fire.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. The company said that it is also looking into how the damage to the island may affect future itineraries.
Various videos of the fire were uploaded on the internet, and showed the severity of the blaze.
