Police Arrest Florida Man For Fatal Hit-and-Run Involving Scooter
Monday afternoon police continued to search for the driver of a pickup truck that struck and killed a man riding a scooter Sunday. Now, it appears they have arrested a suspect.
Local10.com reports that the crash occurred at about 3:45 a.m. when the dark-colored pickup truck struck the scooter driver near Krome Avenue ad Southwest 14th Street.

Instead of stopping at the scene of the crash, as required by Florida law, the pickup driver fled, leaving the 36-year-old male victim to die.
Investigators have now reportedly arrested a local motorist in connection with the tragedy.
