Pedestrian Killed in Early Morning Broward Hit and Run
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed in Plantation on Sunday.
Local10.com reports that the collision occurred at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning in the vicinity of State Road 7 near Northwest 5 Street when a vehicle crashed into the 36-year-old victim. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

As the darkness broke into daylight, investigators looked for clues as to who may have been the driver that struck the victim, Local10.com reports. Investigators blocked off the stretch of road where the crash occurred, as the medical examiner came and removed the victim’s body from the scene.
