News: Woman dies after being hit by 2 vehicles on Dolphin Expressway
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – A woman died after being hit by two vehicles on a roadway in Miami-Dade County early Thursday, according to WPLG.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the incident happened after the victim stopped her SUV on the westbound lanes of the Dolphin Expressway near Northwest 107th Avenue at about 3:30 a.m.
After she got out of the SUV, the woman and her vehicle were struck by an oncoming Audi SUV. The impact knocked her into the road, where she was hit again by a Honda sedan. The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not yet clear why the woman stopped her vehicle on the highway. The drivers of the two other vehicles stayed at the scene and were cooperating with authorities.
