News: Woman riding electric scooter struck by vehicle in Miami
MIAMI, FL – A scooter rider was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle in Miami Wednesday morning.
According to WSVN, the woman was struck while riding her electric scooter in the vicinity of Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast 24th Street.
Police and rescue crews arrived at the scene of the crash, and the woman was transported to an area hospital. No details were released on the extent of her injuries.
The driver who hit her initially left the scene but came back later, according to police.
