News: Woman killed when vehicle hits moped on County Line Road in Miramar
MIRAMAR, FL – A moped and a vehicle were involved in a fatal collision in Miramar early Friday morning, according to WSVN.
Police said a man was operating the moped with a female passenger when they were struck by a vehicle on the 7100 block of County Line Road near Hard Rock Stadium at about 3:30 a.m. The vehicle then hit a guardrail.
The woman on the moped, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was critically injured and transported to Memorial Regional Hospital.
Police said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene following the accident.
A stretch of County Line Road near the scene was closed while police investigated the crash.
