News: Woman killed after losing control of car in Fort Lauderdale
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – A single-vehicle crash in Fort Lauderdale Saturday morning left a driver dead, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.
According to police, the accident happened shortly before 2:15 a.m. as the victim was driving a car in the 200 block of Southwest 17th Street. She swerved from the road and crashed into several trees, investigators said.
She was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one else was injured in the wreck, which remains under investigation by Fort Lauderdale Police.
