News: Woman dies following 2-car accident near Hialeah canal
HIALEAH, FL – One driver was killed and another had to be rescued after their vehicles collided near a canal in Hialeah Friday night, WSVN reports.
The collision, which witnesses said may have been head-on, happened in the vicinity of West Fourth Avenue and 37th Terrace at about 7 p.m. A woman who was driving one of the vehicles, a Smart car, was ejected and suffered fatal injuries. The other car plunged into the canal as a result of the impact.
