News: Woman dead, man injured after being struck by vehicle in Miami
MIAMI, FL – Police said a car struck two pedestrians in Miami Tuesday morning, killing one of them.
WPLG reports a man and woman were walking across Northwest 7th Street near Northwest 57th Avenue just after 6:30 a.m. when they were hit by a Cadillac going east on Northwest 7th Street. Investigators believe the two failed to yield the right of way.
The woman, age 64, was pronounced dead at the scene while the man, said to be in his 50’s, was listed in critical condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
The incident remains under investigation by Miami police, who said the driver involved stayed at the scene.
