News: Woman critically injured in NW Miami-Dade hit-and-run
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down the person responsible for a hit-and-run crash in northwest Miami-Dade County last week.
According to NBC Miami, a woman was struck by a Toyota Camry while standing in the 9000 block of Northwest 79th Street last Wednesday at about 6 a.m.
The woman was taken to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition.
Miami-Dade Police said the driver left the scene without stopping to render aid. Police are now seeking the community’s assistance in locating the vehicle involved, a dark-colored Camry with left front end and windshield damage.
Anyone with information was asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers.
