News: Victim identified in deadly SUV crash in Wilton Manors
WILTON MANORS, FL – Authorities say a young man died when his SUV crashed in Broward County early Sunday morning.
This is an update to a previous story.
According to NBC Miami, the victim was identified as 18-year-old Tyler Weaver of Fort Lauderdale. The Broward Sheriff’s Office said he lost control of a Ford Expedition while driving on Wilton Drive in Wilton Manors at about 4 a.m.
Weaver’s vehicle slammed into a Wells Fargo bank on North Dixie Highway and then went back onto Wilton Drive. Weaver was pronounced dead at Broward Health Medical Center.
Investigators are continuing to look into the wreck, and believe excessive speed was a factor.
