News: Sedan and SUV involved in fatal collision on I-95 north in Lake Worth Beach
LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL – One driver was killed and another injured in a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Interstate 95 in Lake Worth Beach Wednesday night, according to The Palm Beach Post.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a 49-year-old driver had stopped his SUV in an outside lane of I-95 north near the Sixth Avenue South exit at about 10 p.m. His vehicle was then struck from behind by a sedan, sending the sedan into a concrete traffic barrier before it came to a stop on the interstate.
The driver of the SUV, a Boynton Beach resident, was pronounced dead at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis. His identity was not released. The sedan driver, a 55-year-old Lake Worth Beach man, was seriously injured in the wreck.
