News: Rollover crash at Fort Lauderdale intersection kills 1, injures 2
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Authorities said a driver was killed when two vehicles collided at an intersection in Fort Lauderdale early Sunday morning.
According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the crash took place in the area of Davie Boulevard and State Road 7, where a Ford truck and an Infiniti sedan crashed shortly before 3 a.m.
Broward Fire Rescue said the truck rolled onto its side and the driver of the vehicle suffered fatal injuries. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
Two juveniles in the sedan were injured and were taken to Broward Health Medical Center. Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
The incident is under investigation by the Broward Sheriff’s Office traffic homicide detectives.
