News: Road Ranger injured when car crashes into vehicle on I-95
PALM CITY, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol said a Road Ranger was struck and injured while responding to a crash on Interstate 95 on Monday night.
According to WPEC, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-95 near mile marker 107 in Palm City shortly before 10 p.m.
State troopers said the Road Ranger was helping to up lane closures in the area due to a jackknifed tractor-trailer when his vehicle was struck by a car.
The Road Ranger was reported to have suffered critical injuries, but was later listed in stable condition after being taken to Lawnwood Medical Center. His name has not yet been released.
