News: Police searching for driver who left scene of pedestrian accident in Fort Lauderdale
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Police are trying to track down a driver who left the scene of an accident last month that injured a pedestrian in Fort Lauderdale, WPLG reports.
The incident occurred Feb. 18 on the 1800 block of Northwest 6th Street at about 10 p.m.
Police said 41-year-old Laqueseish Mosley was attempting to cross the street when she was struck by a white SUV and injured.
The driver involved did not stop after the accident and was last seen heading east. Investigators describe the vehicle they are looking as an older model SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Envoy or Ford Explorer.
Anyone with information about the hit-and-run was asked to contact Broward Crime Stoppers.
