News: Police searching for driver who killed bicyclist in SW Miami-Dade
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – Miami-Dade police say a bicyclist was fatally struck Thursday night by a driver who left the scene.
NBC Miami reports the male victim was found in the vicinity of 196th Street and Southwest 127th Avenue shortly after 9 p.m. He was pronounced dead after being rushed to Jackson Medical Hospital South.
A search is now underway for the driver responsible for the hit-and-run, who was last seen heading west. Investigators described the vehicle they are looking for as a 2000-2003 Lexus RX300 with damage on the right side and missing door molding on the passenger side.
