News: Police officer hospitalized following Port St. Lucie collision
PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – A police officer was one of two people injured in a crash in Port St. Lucie Wednesday evening, according to WPBF.
Police said the officer’s car was involved in a collision with another vehicle in the vicinity of St. Lucie West Boulevard and California Boulevard at about 6 p.m.
The police officer and the driver of the other car sustained minor injuries, and both were taken to an area hospital.
The roadway was shut down while the scene was being cleared but reopened later.
