News: Police looking for driver in Little Havana hit-and-run that critically injured pedestrian
MIAMI, FL – A man was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Little Havana Wednesday night, police said.
NBC Miami reports the man was crossing the street near a bus stop in the area of Southwest 8th Street and 7th Street when he was hit by a car at about 8:30 p.m.
The victim, who police say is in his 30s, suffered severe leg injuries and is now in critical condition in the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Police are searching for the vehicle involved in the crash, believed to have been a white Maserati.
