News: Police identify victim of Hollywood hit-and-run as Miami Gardens resident
HOLLYWOOD, FL – The victim of a hit-and-run crash in Hollywood Wednesday morning has been identified by police, WSVN reports.
This is an update to a previous story.
Police said the pedestrian killed was 61-year-old Winsor Louis-Jean of Miami Gardens. He was hit by a vehicle in the area of US Highway 441 and Stirling Road near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino at about 6 a.m. Louis-Jean was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver left the scene afterwards and is now being sought by police.
Anyone with information regarding the incident was asked to contact Seminole Police or Broward County Crime Stoppers.
