News: Pickup truck accident in West Palm Beach leaves driver dead
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – Authorities say a man was killed when his pickup truck crashed in West Palm Beach Saturday.
According to WPTV, the accident occurred near the intersection of Congress Avenue and Gun Club Road shortly before 3:30 a.m.
38-year-old Yuver Hidalgo Lopez was driving a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 south on Congress Avenue when investigators said he changed lanes in front of another vehicle.
The pickup truck lost traction and Lopez drove off the side of the road, crashing into a light pole and a palm tree. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Lopez, a Palm Springs resident, died at the scene.
