News: Person struck, killed by Tri-Rail train at station in Hialeah
HIALEAH, FL – Authorities were on the scene of a fatal railroad accident in Hialeah on Wednesday morning, WPLG reports.
The incident happened at the Hialeah Market station on Southeast 11th Avenue, where a person was struck by a northbound Tri-Rail train.
The victim, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rail commuters were advised to expect delays, but alternate bus service was being provided.
