News: Pedestrian struck, killed by vehicles on I-75 in Hialeah
HIALEAH, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a deadly pedestrian accident on Interstate 75 Monday morning, according to WPLG.
The incident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 near the on-ramp for NW 138th Street in Hialeah. State troopers said a man was hit by least two vehicles while he was walking across the interstate at about 5:30 a.m.
The victim, whose name was not immediately released, sustained fatal injuries. He was believed to be homeless.
Authorities said the drivers of both vehicles remained at the scene after the crash.
Three right lanes of I-75 were shut down as troopers conducted their investigation.
