News: Pedestrian struck and killed by car in Fort Lauderdale
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Police were at the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident in Fort Lauderdale early Thursday.
According to WSVN, the incident occurred in the vicinity of Northeast 54th Street and North Federal Highway.
The pedestrian, reported to be a man in his 60’s, was struck by a car and suffered fatal injuries. The name of the victim was not immediately released.
Investigators said the driver involved in the crash stayed at the scene.
