News: Pedestrian dies after being struck by 2 vehicles in Boynton Beach
BOYNTON BEACH, FL – A pedestrian died after being hit by two vehicles in Boynton Beach on Friday night, reports WPTV.
The incident took place as the man was trying to walk across Congress Avenue between Old Boynton Road and W. Boynton Beach Boulevard shortly before 6:30 p.m.
According to police, the 59-year-old victim was hit first by a northbound Lexus NX and was then hit again by a second vehicle, a Kia Sorento. The man, whose name was not released, was not using the crosswalk while walking across the street.
Authorities do not anticipate that any criminal charges will be filed in the case.
