News: Pedestrian critically injured in Miami hit-and-run crash
MIAMI, FL – Authorities say a driver fled the scene after hitting a pedestrian in Miami on Saturday night.
WSVN reports the man was hit by a car in the area of Northwest 51st Street and Second Avenue shortly after 9 p.m.
Miami police and first responders arrived and found the man unresponsive. He was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where he was listed in critical condition.
Police are now searching for the vehicle involved in the incident, but no description of the car was immediately available.
Anyone with information regarding the crash was asked to call Miami Police or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers.
