TAMARAC, FL – Authorities are investigating after a pickup truck crashed into a home in Tamarac on Wednesday evening, WPLG reports.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office said the driver of a Ford F-150 lost control of the vehicle while heading north on Northwest 55th Street at about 6 p.m. and struck a home in the 2300 block of the roadway.
The driver was taken to Broward Health Medical Center with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. Two people who were in the home at the time were not injured.
The crash left a large hole in a bedroom and it is expected that the home will have to be condemned, according to the Tamarac building inspector.
