News: Motorcyclist killed in multi-vehicle accident in Boca Raton
BOCA RATON, FL – Police in Boca Raton are investigating an accident that killed a motorcyclist on Saturday night, according to Boca News Now.
The incident happened in the vicinity of W. Yamato Road and NW 5th Avenue at about 8 p.m. Police said a motorcycle and a Toyota Camry were approaching the intersection at the same time that a Toyota Tundra pickup was attempting to make a left turn from W. Yamato Road onto NW 5th Avenue.
The front of the motorcycle hit the passenger side of the pickup, and the motorcyclist was thrown from the bike into the roadway. The Camry then crashed into the pickup truck.
The motorcycle rider, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at Delray Medical Center. The other two drivers were not injured.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash was asked to contact Boca Raton police.
