News: Miami man killed in multi-vehicle crash on I-95 south in Boca Raton
BOCA RATON, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol was at the scene of a fatal multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 95 in Boca Raton Wednesday evening.
WPTV reports the incident took place on the southbound lanes of I-95 near Palmetto Park Road at about 5:44 p.m.
The FHP said a driver lost control and spun out while heading south on I-95 and collided with another car.
Both cars were then struck by other vehicles, causing the driver of the second vehicle to be partially ejected through a window. That driver, a 63-year-old man from Miami, was pronounced dead at the scene. A total of five vehicles were involved in the wreck.
Southbound lanes of I-95 were blocked for several hours while the FHP conducted its investigation.
